These are some other detailed pictures of the Star Trek Enterprise model being built:

The completed saucer section.  I may paint more details latter on.

These pieces will now dry overnight before final assembly.  I ran short on exterior paint.

Here's the completed model !

 To the left are a few more pictures of my progress.   I used 2 small cans of Testor spray paint, 1 light grey and one dark grey, but I should have one more for the exterior.

I used CA glue and rubber bands for seams and for the thin saucer side pieces.  Some of the links to the right have great information on model building as well.

Notice I glued these parts together first.  It makes it easier to line up the seams.

Above you can see I notched out the flanges so it will "slip" together rather then snap.
